Dan Ryan has been Head Coach of West Coast Fever since 2022, a year in which he led the Club to its maiden premiership.
In his three seasons in charge of Fever, Dan has taken the side to a premiership and two preliminary finals, with 34 wins from 48 matches and a win:loss ratio of 70 per cent.
His coaching journey started as an Assistant Coach with the Adelaide Thunderbirds between 2012 and 2015, which included winning the 2013 ANZ Championship.
He then moved to the UK Super League and coached in his own right as Head Coach of Manchester Thunder, where he took the team to the grand final. He also worked as a technical coach in the England Roses full time program.
He returned to Australia and re-joined the Thunderbirds, this time as Head Coach, during the first two seasons of Suncorp Super Netball in 2017 and 2018.
In 2019, he returned to Manchester Thunder as assistant coach and helped them to the premiership. Before becoming the inaugural Head Coach of the Leeds Rhinos in 2021, making finals in their first ever season.
Dan has also coached at the international level, when he took charge of Northern Ireland at 2019 World Cup, finishing in 10th place.
As a player, Dan represented Australia between 2003 and 2013 and is Kelpie Number 70. He also won seven national champions with Victoria during his playing career.
